Hi, I’m Lauren — the heart behind Messy Magic Moments and a proud mum of two beautiful young children. My journey into sensory and messy play began at home over four years ago, creating hands-on experiences that encouraged my little ones to explore, imagine and grow. What started as simple activities quickly turned into a true passion for early learning, creativity, and child-led play.

 

I hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, and a current Blue Card. My background has given me a deep understanding of child development, sensory processing, safe play environments and the importance of meaningful parent–child connection.

 

After years of attending sessions myself, running sensory setups at home, and seeing the joy, confidence and curiosity it brings to children, I knew I wanted to create something special for local families — a space where learning happens through wonder, exploration, and of course… a little bit of mess!

Every session is thoughtfully designed with taste-safe materials, age-appropriate tools, and activities that build fine motor skills, confidence, creativity and imagination. I’m so excited to bring magical, messy moments to the Bundaberg & Wide Bay community — I can’t wait to meet you and your mini creators soon.
