Bookings & Payments

  • Full payment is required at time of booking to secure your spot.

  • Sibling discount applies automatically: $22.50 per child / $15.00 per sibling.

  • Numbers are limited to ensure a safe and enjoyable session.

  • Bookings close at midnight before the session starts

 

Cancellations / Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours before the session may be rescheduled to another available class 

  • Rescheduling can be done ONCE then after, if you cannot make it your booking will be cancelled without a refund

  • Rescheduling must be done before the session starts, please email me messymagicmoments@gmail.com to arrange this.

  • If we must cancel (weather, illness, venue issue) I am able to move your booking to another session

  • No shows without any prior email will result in a full cancellation of your booking without refund or reschedule

 

Supervision

  • Children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver at all times.

  • Parents are responsible for their child’s behaviour and safety.

 

Clothing & Mess

  • Sensory play can be wet and messy. Please dress both yourself and your child accordingly.

  • Messy Magic Moments is not responsible for stained or damaged clothing.

 

Health & Safety

  • Please do not attend if your child is sick. Class can be re-scheduled if you have a sick child, please inform us before class starts and we can move your booking to another session.

  • Inform us of any allergies or medical conditions before the session.

 

Weather Policy

  • Sessions are outdoors unless weather conditions are unsafe.

  • Light rain = play continues (we love extra magic!).

Heavy rain/storms = moved indoors or rescheduled

 

Photography

  • Photos may be used for social media or promotion only with written or verbal consent.

 

Venue Rules

  • Parents agree to respect venue property, equipment, and cleanliness.

 

 Acceptance

  • By attending a session, you confirm you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Messy Magic Moments Parental Consent, Liability Waiver & Safety Agreement 

Purpose of the Waiver 

Due to the nature of sensory play activities, and to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, we require every parent or guardian to complete and submit this Parental Waiver form for their child(ren) before participating in our sensory play event, session, party or workshop. By signing this Waiver, the Participant acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined within. 

 

1. Understanding of Liability, Risk, and Agreement to Participate I acknowledge that activities at Messy Magic moments may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to exposure to allergens, slips, falls, and minor injuries. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of my child. I acknowledge that sensory play activities may be messy and could cause staining or damage to clothing, shoes, or personal belongings. Messy Magic Moments Sensory Play is not responsible for any such occurrences. I release and discharge Messy Magic Moments Play, its staff, agents, and representatives from all liability for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation. I voluntarily agree to assume all risks for my child's participation. 

 

2. Supervision & Safety As a parent/guardian, I am solely responsible for my child(ren) during the sessions and events. Messy Magic Moments Sensory Play is not a daycare or babysitting service. I must actively supervise my child at all times and accept full responsibility for their safety. I agree to monitor my child while they interact with all materials. Some may pose choking hazards, allergic reactions, or other risks. Staff do not provide personal care (feeding, changing, medication). Stations have a set capacity. If full, I'll guide my child to another. Tools must be used appropriately. Misuse may incur replacement costs. Messy Magic Moments reserves the right to remove participants who pose a safety risk. I will disclose any physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions that may affect my child's participation.

 

 3. Health and Allergy Awareness If unwell, we will not attend. While efforts are made to minimize risk, an allergen-free environment is not guaranteed. I will bring any necessary allergy medication. Staff will not administer medication. I agree to disclose any allergies. 

 

 4. Material Usage and Safety Disclaimer Food-based materials may include flour, rice, lentils, cereals, oats, fruits, coconut, playdough, cloud dough, tapioca pearls, jelly. These are taste-safe but not for consumption. I will supervise my child and release Messy Magic Moments from liability. Natural, creative materials (e.g., sand, rocks, shells, flowers, sticks) are used for sensory and imaginative play. Some include small parts - supervision is essential. Resources may include tools made of plastic, glass, metal, ceramic, wood. We promote care, respect, and proper use to avoid damage. 

 

 5. Photography and Video Consent Photos/videos may be used for Messy Magic Moments social media & Website only. Consent will be collected per session.

 

 6. Agreement to Terms and Liability Release I agree to follow all rules and policies. I understand this waiver is legally binding under Australian law. Messy Magic Moments is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property. I release Messy Magic Moments from all liability. Safeguarding my child is my responsibility. I release Messy Magic Moments from duty of care under the Occupiers Liability Act and indemnify them from any claims.

7. Privacy Policy Personal information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy (see website). We value your privacy and ensure confidentiality.

8. Confirmation By signing, I confirm I've read, understood, and agree to this waiver. I have explained the rules to my child(ren)
